History The Church at Redstone was founded in 1977 by a small group of Crystal River Valley residents. They originally met next door in the building that is now an art gallery. The current building was completed in 1986. It serves many functions for our congregation, and also provides a meeting place for other groups from the community. In 1989 the founding pastor and about half of the Redstone congregation started a sister church in Carbondale. Many people come from the immediate area to worship here, but others drive from as far as 30 miles away. We usually have from 80 to 120 people in attendance.
