The Church at Redstone is an independent community church. That means we don’t report to any denominational “headquarters” somewhere. We have members, however, who come from a variety of denominational backgrounds. They’ve all found a happy home here at the Church at Redstone! All decisions within the church are made locally by the church members.

With that said, we do take our direction from the Bible, which we believe to be God’s authoritative Word. It guides us in how we live our lives and how to operate the church, which the Bible describes as the body of Christ. When you come to the Church at Redstone, you’ll notice that we’ve focused our worship service on Jesus, the “founder and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). He’s the reason for our hope, and the one who gives us eternal life through faith in Him alone.

Below is our statement of faith, which all of our members have affirmed. Read it over and let us know if you have any questions.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
